You can create an account on Silicon in two ways:

• Email & Password: Fill out the sign-up form with your name, email, and a secure password. You'll need to agree to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
• Google Sign-In: Use your existing Google account for a quick and easy sign-up process. New users signing in with Google will be asked to accept the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy on their first login.

Your profile is your identity on Silicon.

1. Navigate to the Profile page from the user menu (click your avatar).
2. Here you can:
   • Update your name and bio.
   • Upload a new profile picture.
   • Select your profession.
   • Make Profile Public: This is an important setting. Toggling this on will make your profile visible in the Talent Directory on the "Explore" page, allowing project owners to discover and contact you.

The Dashboard is your central hub for all activity.

• Action Items: This section highlights bids that are waiting for your response, whether it's a new bid on your project or a counter-offer you've received.
• Your Projects: A quick-access list of all projects you either own or are a team member of.
• Upcoming Events: A 7-day lookahead at key dates and milestones for your projects.
